Whether you've been part of this community for years or are joining us for the first time, we're bringing everyone together around music, art, wellness and gastronomy.

This year, the experience moves a little differently: familiar places, a refreshed flow and a few surprises still to come. Five days to dance, share, slow down, lose track of time and welcome the year surrounded by people who make these moments matter.

The First Wave

Familiar faces. First toasts. Five days begin.

We begin at El Ganzo, settling in and finding familiar faces before the celebration moves toward the sea.

At Veleros, we gather around a family-style dinner by the water: an easy first evening of locally-sourced food, conversation and the feeling of everyone slowly finding each other again.

Later, we return to Ganzo. The Fire Pit is lit, the music begins, and suddenly five days together feel very real.

Between Years

One last day. One long night.

The final day begins slowly: movement, breath and time to reset before the pace changes.

As evening arrives, we gather on El Ganzo Rooftop for the last dinner of 2026 created by “50 Best” Chef José Luis Hinostroza. We then take a look across the marina: the cranes are glowing, the desert is awake, and CRANIA is waiting.

From there, music carries us through midnight and into the first hours of the new year.

Follow the music back to El Ganzo for first light, slow down on the Rooftop, or let the day pull you toward Veleros.

By the sea, the pace softens: recovery brunch, music, bare feet, long conversations and absolutely nowhere you need to rush.

The Experience

When and where does the experience take place?

The New Year's Experience runs from December 30, 2026, to January 3, 2027, in Puerto Los Cabos, San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico, on the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula.

The five-day program unfolds across three venues: Hotel El Ganzo, Veleros Beach Club and CRANIA.

What can I expect from the five-day experience?

Five days of music, art, wellness and gastronomy, bringing our community together across three unique venues.

From shared dinners and wellness moments to beach gatherings, live performances and late-night celebrations, each day brings its own rhythm.

Do I need to stay at Hotel El Ganzo to participate?

Not at all. You can join the full five-day experience without staying at El Ganzo.

Choose the Pirate Pass if you've arranged your own accommodation, or the El Ganzo Stay Package if you'd like to make the hotel your home throughout the celebration.

Will the full music lineup be announced?

The full lineup is still under wraps.

Expect a curated mix of live performances, DJs and music across the five-day program. More details will be revealed as we get closer to New Year's.

What happens each day?

Every day has its own rhythm, from the opening gathering on December 30 and the New Year's Eve Celebration on December 31 to recovery moments, beach gatherings and a special event on January 2.

The experience comes to a close on January 3 with one final morning together.

What is the difference between the El Ganzo Stay Package and the Pirate Pass?

Both packages include the five-day New Year's experience across Hotel El Ganzo, Veleros Beach Club and CRANIA, bringing together music, art, wellness, gastronomy and shared celebrations.

The El Ganzo Stay Package also includes four nights at Hotel El Ganzo, daily breakfast and the New Year's Eve Rooftop Dinner.

The Pirate Pass is designed for guests staying elsewhere. It includes the shared five-day program, excluding accommodation, breakfast and the New Year's Eve Rooftop Dinner, which is available as an add-on.

What is included in my package?

Both packages include the five-day program from December 30 to January 3, featuring opening and closing ceremonies, community dinners, wellness and recovery experiences, beach gatherings, the New Year's Eve Celebration at CRANIA and a special event on January 2.

The El Ganzo Stay Package additionally includes four nights of accommodation, daily breakfast and the New Year's Eve Rooftop Dinner.

How much does the El Ganzo Stay Package cost?

The El Ganzo Stay Package starts at $4,790 USD for single occupancy or $5,990 USD for double occupancy, per room.

Prices include the full four-night, five-day package from December 30, 2026, to January 3, 2027.

Final rates vary depending on room type and occupancy.

How much does the Pirate Pass cost?

The Pirate Pass starts at $1,300 USD per person for the full five-day experience.

Accommodation, breakfast and the New Year's Eve Rooftop Dinner are not included. The dinner and selected additional experiences are available as add-ons.

How do I book my package?

Choose the experience that suits you best: the El Ganzo Stay Package, including four nights at the hotel, or the Pirate Pass if you're staying elsewhere.

Can I book additional nights before or after the experience?

Yes. If you'd like to extend your stay at Hotel El Ganzo before or after the package dates, please contact reservations@elganzo.com for availability and rates.

Planning Your Trip

What is the nearest airport?

The nearest airport is Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), located in San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico.

The airport welcomes domestic and international flights.

Where should I stay if I have the Pirate Pass?

You're free to arrange your own accommodation in Los Cabos.

For convenient access to the venues, we recommend staying in San José del Cabo or the Puerto Los Cabos area.

If you'd prefer to stay where much of the experience takes place, explore our El Ganzo Stay Package.

What should I wear?

Come as you are, and make it your own.

Expect warm days and cooler evenings in Baja. Bring comfortable clothing for daytime gatherings, swimwear for beach and wellness moments, and warm layers for late nights.

For outdoor celebrations, we recommend comfortable shoes suitable for dancing and uneven terrain.

What can I do in Los Cabos between events?

There's plenty to discover beyond the program.

From whale watching and ocean adventures to surfing, snorkeling, art galleries and desert explorations, Baja has something for every kind of traveler.

The Hotel El Ganzo concierge team can help you plan additional experiences around the New Year's program.

Access & Additional Experiences

Is the New Year's Eve Rooftop Dinner included?

The New Year's Eve Dinner at Hotel El Ganzo, created by Chef José Luis Hinostroza, is included in the El Ganzo Stay Package.

Pirate Pass guests can book the dinner separately as an add-on for $280 USD per person, subject to availability.

Is backstage access included in my package?

Backstage access is not included in the standard El Ganzo Stay Package or Pirate Pass.

Optional upgrades offer backstage access to selected celebrations, including New Year's Eve at CRANIA, the Elixir Lounge experience at Veleros Beach Club and the special event on January 2.

Are wellness activities included?

Yes. Both packages include selected wellness and recovery experiences throughout the five-day program.

These include wellness gatherings, recovery moments and the Bath House Decompression experience at Hotel El Ganzo.

Additional spa treatments and private services are not listed as part of the standard package.

What is included in the New Year's Eve Celebration at CRANIA?

Both packages include General Admission to the New Year's Eve Celebration at CRANIA on December 31.

Backstage access and the Open Bar experience are part of the Backstage Add-On, $890 USD per person, available with both packages. They are not included in standard General Admission.

Are all meals included?

Both packages include selected shared dining experiences, including the Between Years Family-Style Dinner at Veleros Beach Club and the Recovery Brunch at Hotel El Ganzo.

The El Ganzo Stay Package also includes daily breakfast and the New Year's Eve Rooftop Dinner.

Other meals and beverages are not automatically included unless specified in your package.
