I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I lived until the age of 22. I studied at the National School of Fine Arts Prilidiano Pueyrredón. From the Art History department, the ancient Olmecs and the monumental murals of Siqueiros illuminated my path—my first wave. In 2000, I traveled to Mexico to continue my studies at the Ibero-American School of Art in Mérida, Yucatán, specializing in wood carving and life drawing. I exhibited in various galleries and cultural centers in Mérida. In 2005, seeking a deeper connection with the sea and its life, I began studies in Marine Biology at the University of Nayarit, earning the title of Higher Technician in Diving. The ocean—observing its changes and waiting for the perfect moment to ride a wave—has allowed me to experience its energy from a lived, bodily perspective. Since then, surfing has become an essential part of my life. Today I live in Baja California Sur, in my village of Las Ánimas near San José del Cabo. I follow the wave and study the phenomena of the sea, seeking ways to live and honor ancestral beings, fostering the care of natural resources through stories told with recovered materials, which I incorporate into my works. I train my eyes by reading the depths, shapes, and unearthly colors that cover the marine sky in another language.
He talks about how learn a new ability and how knowledge is given from one to another. Pablo had the chance to meet Miguel, who passed away, and who taught him how to build boats. Not long ago, Pablo met with Aladin, another student of Miguel. This interest for boats, made him study in Switzerland. That is why they are going to interview him, ask for advice, and to debate where if its art or not.
