Since 2012, we’ve welcomed artists from around the world to leave their mark, transforming rooms and common areas into living canvases. From large-scale murals to sculptural details and hidden messages, these interventions are traces of moments, residencies, and collaborations past. They are not static—they evolve with us, reminding guests that this is a space in constant co-creation. To stay at El Ganzo is to live within an artwork: one that continues to unfold with every visit, every artist, and every guest.

For over a decade, El Ganzo’s Art Program has evolved alongside the artists, communities, and landscapes that surround us. At its core is our Residency Program: a space for national and international artists and cultural thinkers to create, exchange ideas, and open new conversations.
Our intention is to contribute meaningfully to the contemporary art scene while remaining deeply connected to Baja California Sur. Through residencies, talks, workshops, collaborations, and research, we continue to build a platform that supports artistic practice, strengthens the local cultural ecosystem, and explores art as a catalyst for social and environmental transformation.
