Preserving Indigenous Culture with the Huni Kuin
Our collaboration with the Huni Kuin community of Acre, Brazil, centers on the resilience, wisdom, and cultural richness of one of the world’s oldest Indigenous groups.
Despite the pressures of globalization, extraction, and constant cultural erosion, the Huni Kuin have preserved a universe of traditions, language, spiritual practices, and artistic expression. Through music, body painting, weaving, storytelling, and ceremony, they maintain a worldview deeply connected to nature and shared memory.
Our partnership supports:
• Intercultural exchange, where Huni Kuin youth can share their heritage
• Creative collaboration, producing murals, music, and workshops
• Cultural preservation, amplifying their voices and traditions
This initiative highlights our belief that art can protect identity and build bridges across cultures—ensuring ancestral knowledge can continue thriving into the future.
