Art With
Impact
“We don't tell the artist, you know, this is the place where you have to do your painting, or this is the painting that you have to do. It's like, you come here, you stay here, you feel inspired, and you do whatever is in your heart.” - PSN

Preserving Indigenous Culture with the Huni Kuin

Our collaboration with the Huni Kuin community of Acre, Brazil, centers on the resilience, wisdom, and cultural richness of one of the world’s oldest Indigenous groups.

Despite the pressures of globalization, extraction, and constant cultural erosion, the Huni Kuin have preserved a universe of traditions, language, spiritual practices, and artistic expression. Through music, body painting, weaving, storytelling, and ceremony, they maintain a worldview deeply connected to nature and shared memory.

Our partnership supports:

• Intercultural exchange, where Huni Kuin youth can share their heritage
• Creative collaboration, producing murals, music, and workshops
• Cultural preservation, amplifying their voices and traditions

This initiative highlights our belief that art can protect identity and build bridges across cultures—ensuring ancestral knowledge can continue thriving into the future.

Exploring Coastal Realities with Inari Maru

The Inari Maru program invites artists to investigate coastal territories as complex ecosystems shaped by politics, migration, ecology, and history. Baja is not just landscape—it is a living territory with tensions, opportunities, and stories waiting to be told.

Through residencies, fieldwork, and collaborations, participating artists explore themes such as:

The cultural life of coastal communities
Changing economies and ecological pressures
The social and political dimensions of coastal space
The future of waterfront territories

The result is a body of artistic research that expands our understanding of coastal environments, encouraging collective reflection and dialog.

Art as a Force for Understanding

"Art with Impact" shows how creativity can engage with real world concerns—turning the hotel into a platform for education, preservation, and social engagement.

This program reinforces our belief that art is not decoration;

It is a way of seeing the world and reshaping it for the better.
