"I am a visual artist working in painting, illustration, luminism, and design. As a self-proclaimed ‘personality artist,’ I demystify any notion of who or what an artist ‘should’ be. My repertoire includes large-scale works made with raw materials salvaged from construction projects and factory waste, as well as traditional media such as gouache, oil, and ink. My hands cannot sit still, my methods are many. And although my finished works are diverse and novel (each series is something completely different), my process remains constant: accessible, spontaneous, and exposed. I open the curtain and let the viewer in. I graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from the California College of the Arts and in design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. I learned all the rules so I could break them. Taking my talent off the canvas and into other mediums such as fashion and immersive live art experiences is an invitation into the art world that would otherwise be unapproachable. I integrate the artist and the art; the subject and the object; the artwork and the audience; I create a space that allows for openness and tests the relationship between our material and digital lives.
