Stefan Brüggemann works with conceptual texts in different installations, filled with social critique and a post-pop aesthetic whilst maintaining a punk attitude. His choice of words is typically provocative. Inside his bedroom he created a piece making a reference to musicians on the glass windows outside the shower, he used phosphorescent orange, gray and black spray paint, same as he did in other pieces such as ‘Headlines and Last Line in the Movies (Wall)’ from 2016. His piece "Do not disturb" makes a reference of this very common phrase used especially in hotels, this way the work he did inside the bedroom becomes even more mysterious to the public.
Works with conceptual texts in different installations, rich in social criticism and post-pop aesthetic. In the piece created for El Ganzo “From Wagner To Whitney In No Time”, Stefan references different musicians all over the glass walls outside the shower, created with spray in colors phosphorescent orange, gray and black, the same colors he has used before in pieces like Headlines and Last Lines in the Movies (Wall) from 2016. The piece in the public space is Do Not Disturb, making reference to this well-known phrase that can be read all over most hotels. Having this, it makes the work that happened inside the room even more mysterious.
