Born in Tlaxcala, Mexico, Helena Garza is a multidisciplinary visual artist whose practice explores the shifting boundaries between painting, technology, and perception. Trained in both classical music and visual arts, she approaches each work as an evolving system where the physical and digital worlds continuously intersect.While painting remains at the core of her practice, Helena expands its possibilities through digital technologies, live coding, virtual reality, biotechnology, and performative processes. Drawing inspiration from movements such as vaporwave and cyberpunk, as well as scientific and philosophical explorations of reality and post-humanity, she creates immersive visual languages that exist somewhere between abstraction and representation.Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including the Tamayo Biennial, Museo Jumex, Sonar +D, and exhibitions in Paris, San Francisco, Hong Kong, and New York. Across every medium, Helena invites viewers into speculative landscapes where memory, nature, technology, and imagination coexist, revealing new ways of experiencing both the visible and the invisible.
